We were recently visited and assessed by representatives from the Considerate Constructors Scheme. We were monitored against a code of considerate practice which requires all those registered to:
Care about Appearance.
Respect the Community.
Protect the Environment.
Secure everyone’s Safety.
Value their Workforce.
This code is designed to raise industry standards and requires us to carry out our construction activity with the greatest care and consideration. We were very proud to be recognised and rated as 4.5 stars for 2018.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image.
Construction sites, companies and suppliers voluntarily register with the Scheme and agree to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements. For more information on the Code, please visit www.ccscheme.org.uk
The Scheme is concerned about any area of construction activity that may have a direct or indirect impact on the image of the industry as a whole. The main areas of concern fall into three categories: the general public, the workforce and the environment.
Please do get in touch if you would like to visit the factory and our team to see what impressed the CCS Inspector. We are looking forward to working with CCS and take all their feedback on board and hope to become 5 Star at our next inspection.
