IMPORTANT NOTE: When working on the under gear, ensure that the unit is safely supported

DO NOT rely on the hydraulic legs

  • Lift via hydraulic legs to acceptable height
  • Place Groundhog ram supports beneath the unit whilst works are being carried out
AXLE STANDS
AXLE STANDS
  • Lift via forklift or suitable lifting apparatus
    (Note: must be capable of supporting 1800KG)
  • Place onto 4 axle stands
  • Make a final check of all stands before proceeding with work beneath the Groundhog

  • Ramp must be capable of supporting 1800KG
  • Manoeuvre welfare unit in to correct position making sure ramp arms are clear of unit
  • Position ramp arms beneath unit side rails
