Genquip-Groundhog are pleased to announce that the Considerate Constructors Scheme have completed their annual assessment of the Groundhog Facilities and awarded a 4.5 star rating. The rating (based on a score of 43/50) takes into consideration how companies:
The Scheme noted “The advent of Covid-19 has significantly changed working practices and the public interface, particularly within a factory environment, however, exceptional measures have been introduced in conjunction with the company’s Covid-19 policy towards safeguarding all persons via social distancing, segregated pedestrian routes, temperature checks, face mask requirement, staggered break times and an emphasis to follow local government guidelines in suppressing potential infections.”
The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a non-profit-making, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image. Construction sites, companies and suppliers voluntarily register with the Scheme and agree to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme recognises the valuable and vital contribution made by companies supplying goods and materials to sites. Suppliers perform a vital role in the construction process, and equally, they have a responsibility to behave in a considerate manner at all times to ensure they portray a positive image of the industry they represent.
